Goals & Mission of IEC Academy:

  • ​Provide your children with high quality Academic and Islamic education at the Islamic Center of Morris County (ICMC), Rockaway, NJ, as a valuable faith-based alternative to public schools, helping them to be top students with Islamic values and without the peer pressures to engage in un-Islamic activities.

Educational Program of IEC Academy:

  • High Quality Core Academic subjects English, Math, Science, & Social Studies taught live by online Teachers, including chosen Electives via self-paced and live online learning.
  • High Quality Islamic Studies, Quranic Studies & Quranic Arabic Language taught by In-person and Live Online Teachers.
  • Highly beneficial Educational Enrichment programs and activities for students organized and facilitated by IEC Academy staff and parents: Projects, Electives, Clubs, Field trips to farms, parks & nature centers, museums, science and art centers, sports & fields activities. 
  • Accredited Academics Curriculum and Accredited High School Diploma. 
  • Taught by US based Certified & Highly experienced Teachers through Live Online Classes, and supervised by IEC staff and Parents at ICMC.
  • Year-round academic support and guidance, and official school report cards every quarter.

Reasonable, Competitive Tuition:

  • Student Tuition for Full-time Weekly Academics, Islamic & Enrichment programs conducted by IEC Academy at ICMC:
  • Regular Tuition (Monday-Thursday, 8am-3pm): $550/month. 
  • Premium Tuition (Monday-Thursday, and Friday half-day, including two Live Online Electives each semester): $650/month

IEC Academy Objectives:
To give your children high quality Academics and Islamic knowledge, skills, and practice in a fun and meaningful way, while also providing a great Islamic environment for friendship and practice.

  • We want the children to be aware of their duty to Allah and to be motivated to do ‘Ibadaat’.

  • We want the children to have knowledge of the teaching and practices of Islam.

  • We want the children to have the curiosity to know why Islam is the best way of life.

  • We want the children to develop Muslim friends, excellent character, manners, and respect for everyone.

  • We want the children to be able to deal in excellent Muslim manners with non-Muslims and with compassion & kindness for the Needy

  • We want children to be proud of their Islamic beliefs, teachings, and heritage, and explain them to non-Muslims in a coherent and compelling way

2. Required Commitments for School Admission:

  1. Parental Commitments:

  • On time Arrival of your child/children to school: 5-minutes before the school start time: 8:00am, M-Fri. 

  • Support your child/children to complete weekly Review & Homework

  • Timely response to Teacher requests

  • Timely payment of School Tuition & Fees

  • Explain and review with your child/children the School Rules of Conduct for school and classroom, and for them to respect & follow.

  • Respect all school rules and requirements, including student drop-off and pickup safety rules

  • Attending Dhur prayers is mandatory

  • Pickup students at school ending times: M-Th: at 3:00 pm, and not before except for written exceptions requested to the School Admin office


  1. Student Commitments - DOs and DO NOTs: 

  • Do Respect & follow the School Rules of Conduct for school and classroom

  • Do Attend school punctually and regularly

  • Do Perform and complete weekly Review & Homework assignments 

  • Do Attend the mandatory, jammat Dhur prayers 

  • Do Respect and Listen to Teachers, Admin and other staff

  • Do conduct yourself good, helpful, responsible, and respectful to everyone, and play nice.

  • Do Keep cleanliness in school, including in prayer rooms, classrooms, lunch room, and bathrooms

  • Do Report immediately to School Admin, Teachers, or other adults if anything or anyone is bothering you, upsetting you, you are not feeling well, or if you see a problem, or a mess, or something is wrong or not safe.

  • Do Not use of digital devices (phones, watches, games, etc) in classrooms unless when an emergency use is asked of Teacher. 

  • Do Not engage in physical or cyber bullying, name calling, pushing or touching others in-appropriately, or other misbehaving

  • Do Not touch or take others property without their permission

  • Do Not break, damage or mess up school property or other’s personal property

  • Do Not bring to school any form of harmful devices, such as guns, explosives, chemicals, knives, etc that pose physical or other risks at the school.

  • Do Not bring any form of sexual or pornography item to the school. 


3. School Program & Curriculum:

  • The IEC Academy full time School is focused on providing Academics, Islamic education and Islamic values to your children in grades 3 to 12. 

  • We have a set Islamic education curriculum and fully accredited academics curriculum.  

  • Our dedicated and talented staff of experienced teachers follow the curriculum, focused on four main areas, from basic to advanced levels of learning and practice:

  1. Quran Hifz – Basic Surahs Hifz, Meaning, & Tafseer

  2. Quranic Arabic – Reading, Tajweed, Vocabulary, Comprehension

  3. Salaat - know the importance, learn and practice correctly

  4. Islamic Studies & Good Deeds Projects - Aqeedah, Ibadaat, Ihsaan,  Ikhlaaq, Learning Life of the Prophet, Islamic History, and lessons on applying Islamic guidance and practices based on Quran & Hadith

  5. Core Academics and Electives taught by US Certified Teachers that are highly qualified and experienced in their subjects and teaching methods

* Special Program for Youth (High School Students):

  • Advanced Quran Reading with Tajweed, Tafseer, and Discussion with Teachers, Imam, and Islamic Scholars

  • Youth leadership training & opportunities, and youth led giveback activities for the school and the community, and team-building fun activities.

4. Student Grade Levels:

  • Student Grade Levels are divided based on knowledge and age, from Grade 3 to 12 level classes.

  • The teaching of Academics and Islamic subject matter will vary according to grade levels.  


5. Students Evaluation & Placement:

  • The school conducts evaluation & assessment of NEW student for Academics and Islamic education, based on their prior learning knowledge & evidence, for the appropriate grade level placement. 

  • New students are required to complete a one week Onboarding for Online Live Classes.
